- I am aware of some of the issues with the new USR 33.6 modems
- from USR. We have been using the 28.8 versions at our company
- for some time with no problems. We often have Telebit Worldblazer
- modems dial into the 28.8 USRs without a hitch.
-
- However, when the new 33.6 USRs starting shipping we can't ever
- connect successfully when dialing in from the Telebits. After
- the initial connection is made a bunch of garbage chars are
- returned. If I replace the 33.6 with an identically configured
- (as much as possible with the new regs) 28.8 it works first time.
-
- I have also tried modifying the S15 register on the 33.6. Any
- ideas. Oh yeah, if I dial the 33.6 from another USR modem it
- works.
